Excellent writing and character development, fast paced story and nice plot. I liked that Tamryn, the female lead, was tough and resourceful throughout, yet was believable as a young and inexperienced officer, and Makk was a sympathetic anti-hero. The Galcon universe ties into the Mercenary Company series, but this serial stands alone quite well. It was a bit cumbersome to have to buy each installment separately, since there was no way to stop reading until I got to the end!Product details

Frost Station Alpha Part 6 Reckoning eBook Ruby Lionsdrake Reviews
Lionsdrake wraps up her series in a nice way in part 6 Reckoning. The series as a whole should not be missed for science fiction fans. This serial is set in the same universe as Lionsdrake's Mandrake Company books. But you don't need to have read any of those books to understand this series, in fact I read the Mandrake books after I read the first of the Frost Station Alpha series.
I am so happy I found this author as she writes compelling Science Fiction romance. I would have like more time to get to know the greater Glacian population of Glaciem, as this would have made this series for me a five star read. This series had a lot of action, but this last installation is more negotiations and a wrapping up of the love story. I think everyone should put Lionsdrake on there author to read list.
I read this as part of the kindle unlimited program and most all of Lionsdrake's books are part of the program.

I enjoyed this entire series full of action and an enjoyable romance with a cute couple with loads of chemistry.
Loved it, has romance, politics and stubborn,great characters. A very exciting read though it would have been better as one complete book instead of a six part novel.
"Ruby" could write a book on basket weaving and I'd give it five stars, as I would the first five books in the series....does that make my "reviews" biased?? Yup, it sure does....get this series!!!
I love Ruby's writing ... Frost Station Alpha offers some action and suspense, a little romance, and space-faring fun. I've read all of Ruby's other books, and thought this was a cool way to look forward to a new installment downloading onto my . Great read!
